The Greyhound sits in the Kentish countryside, surrounded by farms, orchards & hop fields. We have built our business on the principle of “Farm to Fork” and our menu reflects this.
We source our meat locally - whether from our own smallholding in the next village or from other local farms we know where our meat comes from and we know how to cook it! We use the best fruit, vegetables and ingredients and we cook everything from scratch. From our pies to our ice creams we serve our food with pride and we know it tastes good because we know exactly what’s inside.
We cater for all tastes - alongside meat and fish choices we offer delicious vegetarian and vegan options and we are well-known for our gluten-free offerings. Check out our menus below.

The Greyhound has been a meeting place for friends to enjoy a pint and a chat since the 1850s. Our locals are part of our family and the Greyhound continues to bring people together from our locals who enjoy a pint after work and families out walking their dog to local folk musicians and classic car enthusiasts who meet on Sunday evenings.
We pride ourselves on serving the best local ales, lagers and ciders. Kent and Sussex are home to a rich selection of small beer & cider breweries. We showcase real ales from around 20 different breweries on our hand pumps and also serve the best local ciders, lagers & craft ales. We have worked with breweries like Gun, Larkins, Lakedown & Titsey for years - we know them and they know us. Drinkers visiting the Greyhound will always be offered a choice of real ales & beers from brewers who know their stuff. Mass produced products are not our bag.
And that’s not all. We have wonderful wines, selected by the experts at the Secret Cellar, local gins and spirits, and a wide range of delicious soft drinks. There is something here for everyone.
