We are located in the pretty hamlet of Charcott, situated 3 miles from Sevenoaks Weald village, 2 miles from Leigh and 3 miles from Chiddingstone. It’s a really beautiful part of the Kent countryside, very popular especially for walkers and cyclists.
Reach us by Train
Our nearest station is Penshurst, which is less than a 10 minute walk; a lovely straight paved footpath across the aerodrome. Exit the station and turn right, walk up along by St Luke’s church and the footpath is directly opposite the church. Follow across the aerodrome, enjoy the views across the fields and turn right at the end, the hamlet of Charcott is immediately on your left, you will be able to see the pub from here.

To reach us by car from:
Sevenoaks:
Head west along London Road A224. Turn right into Weald Road, follow to Hubbards Hill and drive down across bridge over A21. Take left fork in the road at St George’s church continuing down hill along Glebe Road. Go straight ahead at the crossroads at the end into Scabharbour Road, follow until this becomes Coppings Road, bearing round to the right. Continue along Coppings Road and again bear right towards Charcott. The hamlet is situated on your right before you reach Camp Hill.
Edenbridge/Chiddingstone:
Head south along B2027 towards Leigh and Tonbridge. Turn left into Camp Hill Road just before you reach Chiddingstone Causeway and the Causeway Stores Shop. Follow Camp Hill Road and then take left hand turn into Charcott.
Tonbridge/Hildenborough/Leigh:
Either come along through Hildenborough on the B245 and turn left towards Hildenborough Station down Noble Tree Road. At the end turn left and then immediately right into Philpots Lane. Follow to the end and then bear left onto Coppings Road. Continue along Coppings Road and again bear right towards Charcott. The hamlet is situated on your right before you reach Camp Hill.
Or come along through Leigh from South Tonbridge by taking the turning into Brook Street from A26. Follow this until it becomes Upper Haysden Lane. From this turn right towards Leigh into Ensfield Road, pass Leigh Station on your right and follow to the end into Leigh and turn left onto the B2027 Penshurst Road. Continue along here and then take a right turn into Compasses Road towards Charcott and Weald. Follow to the end and turn left towards Charcott. The hamlet is situated on your right before you reach Camp Hill.
